Financial Security policies

Internet shopping can be visualized as a chain made of 6 links. The first link is you and your card, the second one is your computer, the third is our service provider, Carter graphics, which hosts our site, the fourth link is our shopping cart made by PDG, the cart collects information during your purchase, the fifth link is our merchant account provider called PsiGate, which takes your credit card information from the shopping cart on our site, verifies its validity then passes it on to the 6th and final link, the payment gateway called HomeTrust which does the actual transfer of funds from one card account to another. Once that is done, the information travels back the other way to authorize or deny your purchase. The whole information exchange and authorization or denial of the transaction is concluded in a few seconds.

Each one of these links then becomes a repository of your information. These 6 links are responsible for maintaining the security of their respective data and when proper practices are implemented and followed by all, Ecommerce provides absolutely secure transactions.

Our responsibility as a merchant is three fold:

1- Provide state of the art encryption for your credit card data. That is done with an SSL security certificate from Geotrust.

2 - Choose experienced, secure and reliable companies for the 4 links that we can choose: internet service provider, shopping cart, merchant account provider and payment gateway.

3 - Ensure the protection of the data collected by our shopping cart software. We do this by abiding with the elaborate security checklist of our shopping cart provider.
